Rude and unprofessional service. The car I rented from them is going back tomorrow. I will not rent from this place again. I took a family friend there so he could rent a car. This friend called in advance to make sure everything would go smoothly with his temporary license-- you know, the road test receipt and learner's permit that acts as a legal license until the new license is mailed. They said that was fine. When we got there, the woman at the desk declined his temporary license. She declined the temporary license and refused to even run it through the DMV database to see if it was legal or not. After spending the time to review their policy, I found nothing that excludes temporary licenses.
As if the first experience weren't enough, we returned the next day so I could rent a car, that way, my friend could use my car instead. The employee recognized me from the previous day and said to me about four times "you understand that you are the only one authorized to use this car, that other gentleman cannot use the car." My family friend was not with me, he was waiting with my car in the parking lot. Not as if this is any of their business anyway! If my friend wasn't in the building with me, he was not part of the transaction. When I said "what other man?" The employee then said "What's that?" as if he hadn't heard me. I wish I had stopped right then and returned the car. Sadly, Hertz and Enterprise in this area seem to have problems answering their phones.
