Love this place! It's our family's tradition to come here every time we get together in Oneonta. Love their salad bar and homemade blue cheese dressing! They changed the King Richard's a few years ago and I liked it better the other way but I would still completely recommend it! They have great steak and peppers and basically I've been very happy with anything I've gotten off the menu. My brother loves their meatloaf and my other brother loves their ham steaks. My mom really loves the Reuben and my sister and I just picked randomly and are always happy, especially if we also get the salad bar! We've never left there unhappy!
Great breakfast and burgers. Busy mornings, but quick seating. I love the place. Highly recommend

Looks good inside and the bathroom was really clean. But the service was so bad. The waitress doesn't greet good morning or anything. I asked for separate plate for French toast but it put on the same plate with omelette. She came around with coffee refills but nothing for ice tea. I had ice tea. Food was decent but took 13 minutes for eggs. She never came back after serving my plate I wanted Tabasco but halfway done. The tops of the bottles are dirty with hard old residue on them. Then she grabbed my dirty plates with out asking and dropped my bill on the table. I drive all over North America and enjoy eating at real family restaurants. But it seems that people don't want to be at work on a holiday. I should just buy the whole building and put a parking lot the is how bad my service was.
They also have all these handmade dollhouse items and little scenes in boxes throughout the place. Some people think they are a little creepy but I appreciate the work that went into each of the little pieces of art! Some of the scenes are humerus and others are just amazing!
The food is cooked just like Mom or Grandma would make it absolutely delicious I can't explain the hospitality the homeyness and the good old down home cooking perfect absolutely wonderful the dollhouse Motif just gave it I don't know some kind of memory of being a child for little girls either little girls who had a doll house or a little girl who's always wanted a dollhouse this place is superb I would recommend this place to any Travelers going through Oneonta students your parents coming up to visit take them to Maurice it is out of this world and if you get to have a chance of having banana cream pie there may I suggest you order it it's homemade and kick ass well that's my review of Maurice and I hope you get the
We stopped on our way home from vacation, after trying two different places that were packed with people. This restaurant ended up being AMAZING, literally the best burger and fries we have ever had! And the waitress was soooooo nice, I wish we had remembered her name! So thank you to the cook and waitress for an awesome meal! You made 4 adults and 2 little ones really happy!
