This was a disappointing experience. I had spoken in advance with someone there a couple weeks before, about inexpensive mattresses for my college student daughter. When we arrived, after driving 5 hours, they only seemed prepared to sell mattresses beyond our budget, and there was no interest in negotiations. That's fine, clearly their right. Just, as I said, disappointing and not what I was given to expect. Otherwise seems like a nice store with decent options if you need something in a higher price bracket. We, however, went across the street and found what we needed exactly from a very friendly competitor.
The saleslady was very pushy, arrogant and rude. Then when the manager wouldn't discount anything at all. They were even more rude, started yelling and calling me stupid for not doing a deal right away. I wanted to check out Scholet Furniture right across the street to compare prices and they freaked out. I had to leave because I felt so disgusted by the way they treated me. At scholet found the same bed for $980 less and purchased!
They helped me secure fiancing for a loge period of time then was advertised for my price range. The staff was very friendly and took their time with me. I Highly recommend the Oneonta store.
My daughter and I decided to pop in here one day and buy her a much-needed new mattress. The salesmen were super nice and very informative! Ended up buying my daughter a queen size memory foam with a power base. Delivery was next day. Love the product, only issue was with the friendliness of the delivery crew. they were not as welcoming as expected. Did their jobs and left. I would recommend this store to all my friends and family!
