This is one of my favorite Oneonta restaurants. My favorite thing to order is the Classic California burrito. It's so filling and delicious.
Fairly expensive but the food is pretty good. Entrees are enormous. Wait staff always friendly and the margaritas are good
I have eaten here a few times. The food is always good but they have a server that has no idea what she's doing, she messes up at least one order at least everytime I'm here and is unbearably slow and seldom checks up on the table. Last straw with her was tonight when me and my husband were seated and waited at our table for almost 30 min without even a "be right with you." It was not overly busy and we observed several other tables getting timely service from other wait staff who arrived minutes after us.
I used to love going here but the food quality has really been decreasing over the years. The last time I went, I ordered the Chile Relleno stuffed with vegetables. When I got my food, I found that the vegetables were just a bag of frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, and broccoli). I myself only use frozen mixed vegetables when I am trying to cut corners when I cook for my family at home - there is no place for them at a restaurant! Furthermore, what a strange combination of flavors to put in a "Mexican" dish - I've never heard of having peas in Mexican food. I ended up sending the dish back because it was so poorly done. The next dish I got was the Drunken chicken enchiladas. Again, the quality of the food was poor. The corn tortillas tasted like the kind I have purchased at Walmart - not freshly made. It's a shame because the atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, they make great margaritas, and the service is good. After my last experience I probably won't be going back.
