Why one star, because I've been standing here for fourty five minutes, when I was told it was on its way the first phone call out of three. So I've been standing here for that long, having to take a dump and in that time I could have taken an a & d in the bathroom and still had time to walk home, AT A SLOW F#$K@NG PACE!! So whatever time you think you'll save calling them, just take a dump and walk.
Dispatch can be rude and worst with time ever. They've had me late to work numerous times. Never again after today.
Called at 430 a.m and requested a ride with a pick up time of 545 am .Driver picked me up at 625am and then complained the whole ride about getting out of bed for a lousy $6 ride. I paid him with change and made him give me a receipt......And also didn't have change for a $10 bill.....ridiculous.
I've been using this cab company for years and am on a first-name basis with its dispatchers and drivers. There are sometimes delays depending on weather or volume of calls, but that is to be expected with cabs and I try to plan ahead for this. They are very good with pre-scheduled calls and I have always arrived to and from my destination in one piece! There a select few who always lend a hand with my groceries and that is always appreciated. This is a good local resource when you need a cab.
RIPPED OFF TEENAGE PASSENGERS. On August 9th, 2017, my son and a friend used A&D Transport Services for a local ride in Ithaca, New York. Here is what happened: 1. The driver never told kids price beforehand AND did not use a meter during the ride; 2. At the end of the ride, driver Robert H. charged kids twice the average cost in Ithaca for the same ride; 3. The driver refused to accept credit payment and demanded cash AFTER the ride was over; 4. the driver refused to even provide a receipt to kids when asked (only after kids insisted on getting a receipt, the driver Mr. Robert H. then ripped off a random piece of blank paper and scribbled stuff on it). After I contact the company regarding the incident, supervisor Mr. Josh promised to return part of the cash the driver took from kids, but he never followed through his promise till this day. Instead, Mr. Josh fabricated stories about how he couldn't reach us by phone, or couldn't find the place to send the refund. HE NEVER CALLED (Phone company records show that there has never been a call from him). I've called Mr. Josh many times and each time I get a new story or excuse. Now It seems clear that kids are not going to get the justice after supervisor Mr. Josh stood them up over and over.
